If you want a guaranteed smile, take time to check out the pure glee on these kids’ faces as they enjoyed their teachers and others pursue the thrill of victory during Crichfield Elementary School’s Reading Olympics. In this Feb. 28, 2014, event, Crichfield students who met their reading goals attended their own Winter Games, featuring fearless Crichfield teachers and staffers who clearly had as much fun as the kids.
Participants divided into six teams to recreate their version of the Games in the school gym. Events included office chair hockey, biathlon, figure skating, curling, pairs skating, and office chair bobsledding.
