a trip back to the days of poodle skirts and cattin’ the drag with a visit to the LaPorte County Historical Society’s new exhibit for spring: “Diners & Drive-Ins: Hometown Memories.

Memorabilia will include many photos, menus from your favorite haunts, cheerleader sweaters, and more. Plan a visit to the museum for this fun and informative exhibit, which will remain on display through May!

Events are being planned to go along with the current exhibit:

– A sock hop on Saturday afternoon, April 12

– A Fabulous ‘50s Variety Show on Saturday evening, May 10

More information will be provided as plans are finalized.

The LaPorte County Historical Society Museum is located at 2405 Indiana Ave. in LaPorte and is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10-4:30. For more information, call 324-6767 and visit www.laportecountyhistory.org.
