The 6th annual Bowl for Worthy Women will take place at Casey’s Lanes, 610 Colfax Ave., LaPorte, on Saturday, April 12, from 1 to 4:30 p.m.
The entry fee is $120 per team or $15 per person (includes 3 games and shoe rental). Kids 8 and under bowl for free. Proceeds benefit Worthy Women Recovery Inc., a home/organization located in LaPorte that helps non-violent women who have recently been incarcerated or have recurring arrests because of substance abuse addictions.
Among awards given will be a traveling trophy to the winner(s), prizes to the team with the most pledges turned in by April 10, and prizes for the individual who turns in the most pledges by April 10.
