LaPorte Police suspect drug overdoses after they found three men unconscious at a Rockwood Street apartment on April 1, 2014.
Police said in a report that they, along with the LaPorte Fire Department and LaPorte County EMS, responded to the home in the 400 block of Rockwood at about noon. They found a 31-year-old LaPorte man unconscious. Witnesses told police they came over to check on a family member and found the man, along with two other LaPorte men, ages 37 and 40, also passed out in the home. The witnesses then called 911.
The 37-year-old man regained consciousness and left prior to arrival of emergency personnel. The 40-year-old man also regained consciousness. The 31-year-old was revived by EMS.
Drug paraphernalia was found throughout the apartment, police said. The case remains under investigation.
