Country singer Dierks Bentley is coming to the LaPorte County Fair. Bentley’s concert, to take place July 9 at 7 p.m., joins the lineup that will also include Little Big Town on July 10 at 7 p.m.
Since making a life-altering drive with his father from Phoenix to Nashville when he was 19, Bentley has forged his own path in an industry built predominantly on formula. He has mixed elements of modern country, classic country, bluegrass and rock, constantly reinventing his sound. His album “Home” debuted at No. 1 and spawned three hits, marking 10 career No. 1 songs for Bentley as a singer and songwriter. His new album is entitled “Riser.”
Little Big Town gained popularity initially with its hit “Boondocks,” and has won and been nominated for several Grammys, CMAs and ACMs. The band’s current album, “Tornado,” has produced its first No. 1 single, “Pontoon,” and put two more tunes on the Billboard Hot 100 Country chart in the album’s title track, “Tornado” and “Your Side Of The Bed.”
