The City of LaPorte Park and Recreation Department is offering a Fall Fastpitch Softball League for girls in four age divisions to run from Sept. 6-Oct. 11 (tournament may run through Oct. 12). The age divisions are 8U, 10U, 12U and 14 U, with the age determination date of Dec. 31, 2014.
Games will be held on Saturdays at Lions Field. The league accepts registrations from teams or individuals. Teams must have insurance or pay additional team fee. Local rules apply; time limits will be used. The 10U division will be all player pitch; 8U division will be all off machine.
The cost of the program is $45 for first child and $35 for each additional child in same household (includes shirt). An additional $20 added to registration fee after Aug. 15. Registration available beginning Monday, July 28, at the park office (250 Pine Lake Ave.) or by phone with Visa/MasterCard. Make checks payable to the LaPorte Park and Recreation Department.
