State Street was indeed That Great Street (sorry, Chicago) as Downtown LaPorte’s first Farm Dinner stopped traffic Saturday evening, Sept. 13, 2014.
The sold-out dinner drew dozens of diners enjoying culinary treats from LaPorte’s Spire Farm-to-Fork Cuisine and other local establishments.
The chilly evening only seemed to boost attendees’ spirits as they mingled and gathered at a blocks-long dining table.
It’s a good bet that this new event will become an annual tradition.
The iconic courthouse serves as a perfect backdrop to the infinity dining table on State.
