It’s time to change your clocks, AND your batteries.
“Fall back” this Saturday night or Sunday morning and while you’re at it, change the batteries in your smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors.
LaPorte Police also remind us to check those detectors to make sure they’re working properly. “Increased use of fireplaces, furnaces and other heating sources during the colder months make this especially important. Remember, CO detectors usually wear out in 5-7 years so it could be time for a new one.”
