Wellinski at Lucas: larger than life
Talk about over the rainbow. The state-champion LaPorte High School Marching Band experienced just that as it performed its Oz-themed show in the home of the Colts, Lucas Oil Stadium, in Indianapolis Nov. 8, 2014.
The LPHS band, crowned the best of 20 Scholastic A bands at an Oct. 25 ISSMA competition, joined the state’s other top bands Nov. 8 at an open class performance at Lucas.
