Forty-four newly added bricks along the LaPorte Veterans Walkway of Honor will be dedicated at a ceremony Saturday, June 1, at 2 p.m. The walkway is located in Soldiers Memorial Park near the park entrance off Pine Lake Avenue.
The LaPorte Mayor’s Veterans Committee dedicates new bricks each year as they are acquired by area veterans’ families and friends. Bricks are purchased through the committee or LaPorte City Hall and are inscribed with veteran information of your loved ones. For more information, call City Hall at 362-8220.
The public is invited to attend the ceremony to show their support for the LaPorte area’s service men and women.
