Get that warm and fuzzy feeling at Pioneerland’s annual Christmas Open House on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 6 and 7, from 3 to 8 p.m. at the fairgrounds.
The recreated 1800s village is glowing with Christmas lights, candles, people in vintage costumes, horse and wagon rides, Santa, goodies, and more. It’s a perfect event for the family to get into the holiday spirit. There is no charge!
The ever-growing Pioneerland now includes two log cabins, a blacksmith shop, barns, a schoolhouse, a post office, a general store, and more. All buildings are accessible to those with disabilities.
The entire village was funded and is operated by volunteers.
