On Friday, June 5, bring your chairs and blankets to the parking lot at State and Monroe for the 2015 season kickoff of Friday Night at the Movies. This family-friendly free event will feature as its season debut, “UP.”
The Disney movie will be shown beginning at dusk. Before it starts, there will be a 250-balloon launch, so come early to get your seat to watch that! Free popcorn will be provided by LaPorte Savings Bank. Bump n’ Jump Playhouses will provide free bounce houses for the kids starting at 6 p.m. until the movie begins.
A limited quantity of “UP” T-shirt will be for sale in both youth and adult sizes for $10; all proceeds go to the fund for a new outdoor movie screen for Friday Night at the Movies.
