Dorothy “Dottie” Daisy, 72, of LaPorte, died Monday, June 8, 2015.
She was born Jan. 23, 1943, in Chicago to Frank and Mildred (Kuczek) Wojdyla.
Dottie retired from the South Bend Tribune as a customer service representative. She graduated from LaPorte High School.
On Jan. 30, 1960, she married Norman A. Daisy, who survives. They were married 55 years.
Also surviving are her sons, Norman (Leeann) Daisy Jr. and Thomas Daisy, both of LaPorte; grandchildren, Brian, Nick, Alicia and Skylor Daisy; and many nieces and nephews.
Dottie was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Barbara Catalano; and brother, Jim Wojdyla.
Visitation will be held at Essling Funeral Home, LaPorte on Friday, June 12, from 9 to 11 a.m. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Reverend Ricky Bray officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte.
