The Friends of the LaPorte County Public Library’s big annual book sale starts Thursday, June 25, and runs through Sunday, June 28. The location this year is 1106 W. Ind. 2, the former Sun Appliance building. Customers will find great prices on gently used books, paperbacks, CDs, audiobooks, textbooks, and more.
The “Members Only” sale is Thursday, June 25, from 3 to 7 p.m. Memberships may be purchased at the door, or purchased before June 25 for a lesser fee. Membership forms are available at any library location or on the library’s website, laportelibrary.org.
The sale opens to the general public on Friday, June 26, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, June 27, hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, June 28, hours are noon to 4 p.m.
The Friends of the Library is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the LaPorte County Public Library and literacy in our community. Their summer book sale events are their biggest fundraisers. Funds raised support the library’s Summer Learning Adventure and other events and classes at the library for all ages.
