WNLP and the LaPorte County Small Animal Shelter present today’s repeat Pet of the Day, Gertie!
Not all pets needing homes are puppies and kittens. But that makes them no less deserving. “Our sweet lady Gertie is still looking for her forever home,” the shelter reports. “She’s around 10-12 years old, loves to go for walks, and is as sweet as pie. Won’t someone please find it in their hearts to take in this grand old gal and take care of her for the rest of her days?”
If you’re interested in adopting Gertie or any other shelter pet, call 219-326-1637 or visit the shelter at 2855 W. Ind. 2, LaPorte. Adoption hours are Monday, Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
