Items were stolen from two boats docked on Pine Lake in the vicinity of the 900 block of Pine Lake Avenue between June 28 and July 4.
A Sea Ray owner told LaPorte Police someone lifted the boat cover and stole a Kobalt socket set, Kobalt multi-screwdriver, Pelican waterproof case and two Apple iPod cables.
A Bayliner owner told police that the thief or thieves did the same with his boat, taking about 200 fishing lures/tackle and a boat vacuum. The battery was also disconnected, but still there.
