Six students from the LaPorte High School Music Department performed at the Indiana Music Educators Association (IMEA) State Convention Jan. 12-14 in at the Embassy Theatre in downtown Fort Wayne.
The following students were selected from auditions and applications from the entire state for the following ensembles:
IMEA Honor Band: Caroline Francis, Sofia Sirugo, Luke Vasilarakos
All-State Choir: Alex Gushrowski, Max Principe, Jessica Thornton
Students attended rehearsals with their guest conductors in preparation for the IMEA concerts.
