Mrs. Carolyn Marie Eigenmann, 72, of LaPorte, died Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013, at Golden Living Center Fountainview Terrace, LaPorte.
She was born Feb. 14, 1941, in LaPorte to Herbert and Hazel (Arndt) Hubner.
Carolyn worked as a nurse’s aide for 25 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
On Sept. 5, 1959, in LaPorte, she married Ronald L. Eigenmann, who survives.
She is also survived by one daughter, Kristina (Paul) Adams of LaPorte; two sons, Ronald (Cathy) Eigenmann Jr. of Middleburg, FL, and Jason (Beth Ann) Eigenmann of LaPorte; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many cousins.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents.
The family will receive friends at Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, LaPorte, on Thursday, Sept. 5, from 4 to 7 p.m. A graveside service with interment of ashes in Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte, will be held at a later date with Rev. Ronald Brauer officiating.
