Nov. 21, 1913 – A fire alarm was turned in from box 21, corner of Madison and Lake streets, but when the auto truck arrived, only a man running north could be seen.
Nov. 21, 1963 – An attorney for Teamsters President James R. Hoffa is disbarred for attempting to bribe a juror in Nashville.
Nov. 21, 1988 – The financially struggling South Shore Railroad receives approval to abandon service, effective Jan. 1, 1989.
