Several downtown LaPorte businesses are helping to give back this holiday season by accepting cash donations for various local causes during December. Look for donation boxes, provided by LaPorte business Packaging Logic, at the following locations:
– To donate to the Salvation Army, contribute at Seven Restaurant, 512 State St.; Kemp’s Office City, 812 Lincolnway; and Cannon’s Automotive, 710 Tyler St.
– To donate to the LaPorte County Small Animal Shelter, contribute at Worthington Art Studio, 713 Indiana Ave.; Zelden’s Shoe Store, 723 Lincolnway; Indiana Deli & Catering, 805 Indiana Ave.; KarahTess Clothing & Lettering, 803 Indiana Ave.; Goosefeathers Gifts, 515 State St.; Engstrom’s Jewelers, 820 Lincolnway; Edgerton Travel Service, 801 Indiana Ave.; Jazzercise of LaPorte, 717 Michigan Ave., 3rd Floor; and Magic Sports, 724 Lincolnway.
– To donate to the LaPorte Jaycees/Deserving Children’s Shopping Tour, contribute at Hatfield Pest Control, 601 Washington St.; Wings Etc., 1115 E. Lincolnway; and Sims Meats, 1719 State St. (Silver Palace Complex).
– To donate to the Stepping Stone Shelter for Women, donate at Kabelin’s Ace Hardware, 605 E. Lincolnway; and Roxy Music and Kabelin Closeout Store, both across from LaPorte Hospital.
