The LaPorte County Small Animal Shelter is growing! While dogs inside the shelter barked with excitement, workers from Larson-Danielson Construction Co. continued progress Friday, Nov. 22, 2013, on the 2,200-square-foot addition on the north side of the current shelter building on West Ind. 2 in LaPorte.
The addition, with a projected completion date of Dec. 31, will include a grooming area, an isolation area, extra kennels and an animal care area.
