When you put Santa and a bunch of critters in the same room, fun things are bound to happen. They do every year at the LaPorte County Small Animal Shelter’s Pet Photos with Santa event, which will take place this year on Dec. 7 and 14 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tractor Supply, 71 Pine Lake Ave., LaPorte!
Bring your leashed or crated dog, cat, horse, llama, lizard, bird or whatever, and come have its (or their) photo taken with Santa! The cost is $10 per 4×6 digital photo. Proceeds will help make the holidays brighter for homeless pets at the shelter.
Even if you don’t have a pet, stop by Tractor Supply, perhaps offer a donation, and enjoy watching shelter Director Jane Bernard and crew shake pet toys, make odd noises, dance around and more as they coax the best pose out of the more disinterested pets!
