The LaPorte Slicers girls basketball team continued its perfect season Friday, Dec. 20, 2013, cruising over Portage 74–26. LaPorte is now 8-0 and ranked 9th in the state in Class 4A.
Nicole Konieczny led the Slicers with 23 points; other double-digit scorers were Jaclyn Heath with 15 and Kyleigh Kubik with 14.
The LaPorte JV team also won, 28–19.
