Mrs. Doris M. Olsen, 91, of LaPorte, died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2014, at IU Health LaPorte Hospital.
She was born June 27, 1922, in LaPorte to George and Edith (Williams) Lain.
On Jan. 10, 1942, in LaPorte, she married Kenneth E. Olsen, who preceded her in death March 4, 1979.
Doris was also preceded in death by her parents and four sisters, Ruth Mould, Cecil Dressback, Opal Ritter and Betty Eikelberg.
She is survived by her son, Terry (Janet) Olsen of LaPorte; two daughters, Nancy Devore and Dianne (Larry) Luse, both of LaPorte; 10 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and a sister, LaVon (Herb) Hines of LaPorte.
A graveside service will be held at Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte, on Friday, Jan. 17, at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Jeff Zigler officiating. Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, LaPorte, is handling arrangements.
