The LaPorte County Genealogical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at the LaPorte Park and Recreation Department building, 250 Pine Lake Ave. After a social time and a business meeting, the program will feature a presentation by Marlene Polster, president of the North West Indiana Genealogical Society in Lake and Porter counties; she is also Lake County’s genealogist. She will present a program entitled “What Happens to Your Genealogy Research After You Die?”
The society meets at 7 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month, weather permitting. The public is welcome at all meetings.
