The Michigan City Marquette boys basketball team will be bringing home a state championship trophy after winning an overtime thriller against Barr Reeve, 70-66, on Saturday, March 29, 2014, in Indianapolis.

Marquette’s Ryan Fazekas led all scorers with 34 points, including a Class A state finals record 21 points from beyond the arc.

Marquette took a sizable lead early in the game only to see Barr Reeve go up by 10 in the 4th quarter. Marquette battled back and regained the lead as the two team kept it close for the rest of regulation.
