Local Lions Clubs will host their Golf Scramble fundraiser on Friday, June 7, at Beechwood Golf Course. Shotgun start is at 12:30 p.m.
The donation is $75 per golfer. Entry forms are available at Beechwood and at www.rollingprairielions.org.
Sponsoring Lions Clubs are LaPorte Noon, Maple City, Michiana, Mill Creek Community, Michigan City, and Rolling Prairie.
All profits go toward projects such as cancer research funding, Leader Dogs for the Blind, Indiana School for the Blind, Eye and Tissue Bank, diabetes awareness, local eyeglass donations, Lions Recycle for Sight, Lions Medical Alert units, food baskets, food pantry, Deserving Children’s Shopping Tour, senior luncheons, scholarships, community cleanups, Local Disaster Relief Fund, and blood drives.
