Nearly 100 youngsters ages 2-12 participated in Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church’s Community Easter Egg Hunt Saturday morning, April 12, 2014, at the church off Johnson Road, LaPorte.
The children were divided into three age groups (2-4, 5-8, and 9-12) and then set free to grab as many of the 2,000 goody-filled plastic eggs as they could.
This is the second year for the event that also included a visit by the Easter Bunny, an Easter message by Pastor Kevin Boushek and cookies and juice following the hunt.
