July 15, 1914 – What, beefsteak is 40 cents a pound. Meat prices continue to go higher. Women are urging a boycott on meat.

July 15, 1964 – New York Governor Nelson A. Rockefeller was booed and hooted as he attacked the John Birch Society and other extremist groups.

July 15, 1989 – Indiana State Prison Superintendent Jack Duckworth is not resigning, but he may be reassigned.

July 15, 2004 – LaPorte considers a policy to outlaw cigarette smoking in city-owned buildings and vehicles.
