The 3rd annual Taste of LaPorte will bring samplings of local restaurants, a beer garden, music and more to the Chamber Square outside the historic LaPorte Depot, 803 Washington St., on Saturday, Aug. 23, from 3 to 9 p.m.
Come sample tantalizing food prepared by Spire Farm to Fork, Cookery Tried & True, Albano’s Villa, Seven, Sacred Heart Country Kitchen, and more! A beer garden will be provided by Dick’s Bar.
Live entertainment kicks off with local favorite Jim Post from 3 to 4:30 p.m., followed by Dan Moore and Johnny V from 5 to 6:30 p.m., then headliners Junior and the Igniters capping off the evening from 7 to 9 p.m.
To add to the festivities, Stepping Stone Shelter will have a dunk tank, Ignite Body Art will be painting faces of attendees of all ages, and Bump N’ Jump playhouses will have several bounce houses for the kids.
