Don’t wait until it’s too late! The City of LaPorte Park and Recreation Department will host its third annual Run for Our Parks 10k/5k starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, in Soldiers Memorial Park.
The deadline to guarantee yourself an event T-shirt, as well as receive the lower price, is Friday, Sept. 26. The entry fee is $20 through Sept. 26 or $25 after Sept. 26 and the day of the event. The fee includes a T-shirt (unless choosing the “without T-shirt” option), chip timing, race number and post-race snack. Proceeds benefit the park department. Overall and age group awards will be presented.
