It’s time again to sign up for your chance to break for the bacon, careen for the coffee, sprint for the steak. The annual Rotary Ramble Grocery Scramble on Saturday, Nov. 22, will give the winner the chance to fill your cart with as much as you can in 69 seconds at Al’s Supermarket.

All LaPorte Rotary members have tickets for sale, and you can also purchase them at the cashier stations at Al’s East and West. The cost of each ticket is $5. But it’s a win-win, because each ticket is also a 5% discount card that you can use up until Dec. 31.

Ten winning tickets will be drawn Nov. 17. Besides the ultimate Scramble winner, one winner will receive a $100 Al’s gift card, four winners will receive $50 Al’s gift cards, and four winners will receive $20 Al’s gift cards.

All proceeds will be used to assist with the many Rotary projects that are beneficial to LaPorte and beyond. Rotary’s humanitarian efforts have helped nearly eradicate polio around the world by providing vaccinations. In LaPorte, Rotary is currently helping to build a concession stand and restrooms at the ball fields in Kesling Park, which will help increase the use of those facilities for area and regional competitions, bringing more people to our beautiful parks and city.

Help Rotary help others, and win a shopping spree as well! Visit www.rotaryoflaporte.org for more information or call Mike at (219) 369-3376.
