June 20, 1913 – A novel means of transporting a funeral party a long distance was taken when the remains of a man were brought to Rolling Prairie in an auto-hearse from East Chicago.

June 20, 1963 – President Kennedy’s tough civil rights program touches off in Congress what promises to be one of the bitterest legislative battles in decades.

June 20, 1988 – Wrigley Field will move into the modern era on Aug. 8 when lights will be switched on for a Chicago Cubs game.

June 20, 2003 – The John Glenn High School baseball team competes in the Class 2A state semifinal tonight.
