Let’s face facts … Mother Nature is being cruel to us. When I mowed the lawn Tuesday, May 12, I wore full winter gear except for gloves and by the end of the job, I think I had two fingers that were frostbitten!
Last week I was in Indy for training. When I left Indy it was 90 degrees. When I rolled back into town three hours later, it was 68 degrees. No doubt in my mind we are getting the raw end of the deal here.
Nonetheless, I haven’t let the brutal, uncalled-for arctic attack get me down. I was very fortunate to have purchased a home 10 years ago that was owned by a green thumb. I personally don’t know the difference between a weed and a tulip, however my keen eye for photos helps me to realize the incredibly beautiful colors that surround me.
I’ve snapped a few photos of the colors in my tiny slice of paradise and felt it would be nice to share with the WNLP faithful … enjoy!
