Homespun Harmony Extension Homemaker Club met May 21 at 6:30 p.m. at the Extension Office with Jan Daniels and Phyllis Ekovich hosting. Linda Livinghouse called the meeting to order with roll call answered by, “What did you call your mother?” Twelve members were present.
April minutes and the treasurer’s report were read and approved.
The group evaluated the International Fare program that they hosted in April. There was also a report on the Extension Homemaker Educational Retreat held earlier in the day.
Everyone was reminded to be making items (aprons, pillows, etc.) for the county fair display.
Members discussed the Soil & Water Conservation District Legislative Breakfast, which they will be catering on July 16. The menu was discussed as well as who is going to bring food items.
The next meeting will be Thursday, June 18, at 6:30 p.m. at Bette Schafer’s home.
