May 30, 1915 — Thieves got away with $150-$200 worth of shoes from the shoe store of Ben Elowitz at the corner of Lincoln Way and Adams street.
May 30, 1965 — American Home Foods manager Jack D. Roush said that when the firm opened a plant here in 1962, officials knew they might not stay, but they found more things they were looking for here than anyplace else.
