The worst enemy of a speedboat spectator sport: fog.
A fast-moving cold front caused just that on Saturday, May 30, 2015, calling a halt to the US F1 Powerboat Maple City Grand Prix on Stone Lake.
Races began Friday and continued into early Saturday before the weather gods stepped in. Racing, as well as dusk fireworks over Stone, have been rescheduled for Sunday, May 31.
