July 7, 1915 — A man who chewed his thumb when asked for payment of money he borrowed is now under arrest.
July 7, 1965 — Rev. John R. Booker, senior pastor of the Presbyterian church, will move to a manse recently purchased at 1512 Indiana Avenue. The manse on Michigan avenue next to the church will become the residence of Rev. Charles D. Ross, the new associate pastor.
