A 57-year-old Fish Lake man was arrested Tuesday, July 23, 2013, on charges of three counts of attempted sexual misconduct With a minor, Class C felonies; one count of attempted possession of child pornography, a Class D felony; and false informing, a Class A misdemeanor.
LaPorte County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested David G. Kaufman without incident at his home in the 7700 East block of State Road 4 in Lincoln Township.
“This arrest is the result of an extensive investigation into reports of inappropriate behavior on the part of the accused,” according to a sheriff’s office press release.
