Ross Ratliff of Rolling Prairie has announced he will be running on the Democratic ticket for the District 4 seat on the LaPorte County Council.
“It is with great pride and enthusiasm that I announce my candidacy for a seat on the LaPorte County Council.” Ratliff said in a press release. “I cannot think of a better way to serve LaPorte County.”
The primary election is May 6, 2014, and the general election is Nov. 4, 2014.
Ratliff, a Rolling Prairie native, will be running for the council seat currently occupied by Rich Mrozinski.
“I would like to continue to make LaPorte County an enticing location for economic development and a great place to live for years to come. I am truly dedicated in serving the residents of LaPorte County,” Ratliff said in his release.
He said he wants the council to provide responsibility and approachability to the citizens of LaPorte County.
“By bringing forth positive energy and providing LaPorte County residents the respect that they deserve, I have no doubts that LaPorte County will move forward and continue to be a great county to live and work for years to come.”
Ratliff is a lifelong resident of Rolling Prairie and is involved in the LaPorte County Democratic Civic Club.
