The LaPorte County Symphony Orchestra’s Children’s Chorus offered more than “A Little Christmas” Dec. 6, 2013, at LaPorte’s Bethany Lutheran Church.
The chorus, made up of nearly 20 students in grades 2 through 5 and directed by Matt Nelson, performed a dozen Christmas songs, including Christmas on Broadway, Deck the Hall for All, Jingle Bell Dash, Infant Holy (with soloist Hunter Davis), Greensleeves (with the NISO Youth Orchestra Quartet), Christmas Is For Children (quartet Noelle Grant, Madeline Martino, Zoey Loucks and Kiana Moyer), The Christmas Shoes (soloists Rick Barnes and Jake Ellis), The Polar Express (soloist Chris Price), and The Tale of the Three Trees (reading by Leigh Morris).
